OBIOMIO is a pan-European, science-based technology start-up consisting of dedicated and passionate scientists and engineers from different backgrounds (chemical engineering, polymer science, biotechnology), sharing the drive to create better products and technologies for a cleaner future.
Research in the OBIOMIO lab is strongly dedicated to the development of sustainable polymeric materials (biodegradable packaging, biocomposites, etc.) from renewable resources (e.g. biomass) and waste resources.
In addition to the research activities, OBIOMIO focuses on getting science out of the lab into the hands of those who need it. To bring the latest innovations to the market, we also work closely with leading universities, research institutes, other laboratories and not least with suppliers and customers.
OBIOMIO takes a special care to ensure that developed innovations meet EU policy and legislation.
